Rebecca is getting all Grown Up!!!

So my little baby is now a big 4 month old baby!!! I will post pictures of her and her first time in a pool later!!! I have to get them downloaded to the computer and dad is gone to Roosevelt for a few hours!!! I wanted to get this posted so that someone could read something new from me!!

Well we went to her 4 month appointment on Monday the 15Th and she had to have more shots! Poor baby! She cried until it was over and I picked her up. She then gave me the biggest smile!! She is so funny! The nurse weighed and measured her and she has defiantly grown! She is weighing in at 11 pounds and 3 and a half ounces putting her in the 10Th percentile! She is measuring at 23 inches long which also puts her into the 10Th percentile! Her head is in the 15Th percentile so I am not sure if that is good or it means that she has a big head!!

I look at her and see a huge baby and everyone else sees a tiny little thing! I know it is because I know how small she was when she was born that I think she is big but still!!! I know she is small though because she is still in newborn cloths!! I have tried her in the o-3 month sizes and they are still too big but she is getting closer and closer to fitting into them since she is now starting to grown out of some of the newborn stuff! I am loving that she is so small still!!!

She is learning a lot of things and she is very smart!! She pretends to cough just so that she can get a reaction! She is not rolling over yet unless she is on the bed and then it is easy for her to do that! She hates tummy time but still gets put on it a few times a day! She is still loving her bath and enjoys getting her baths in the actual tub so that she has more room to splash! She is all the time sucking on her fingers but has gotten into the habit of sticking her fingers down her throat and gagging herself! She likes to get a reaction to that also! When she is propped up on a pillow she tries to sit up but falls over instead! She is trying to sit by herself but falls within a few seconds! She still loves to try to stand and is getting the idea of walking except instead of stepping forward she steps backwards!!! She enjoys to "talk" me and does it every chance that she gets. As I mentioned above she had her first time in the pool and she liked it! It was heated but still a little bit chilly. I went to the hot tub thinking that it would be too hot for her but she loved it and was not happy when we got her out after just a couple of minutes (didn't want to get her over heated!) She still doesn't even come close to sleeping through the night yet but is in the bassinet. She stays dry until around 5am and then she will pee, no poopy diapers at night! She thinks that it is funny when she does have a poopy diaper, I call it making a stinky and she gets a huge smile and sometimes I even get a giggle!! She is still a mommy's girl and will allow people to hold her a little bit longer but still not very long! One of the best things is that she is starting to tolerate her car seat more and more so there is less and less times of having to take her out while the truck is moving! She is able to get started on solid foods but she gets a tummy ache when we giver her anything. I guess I will give it a little bit more time before trying her on solids again, however it is not real baby food that she eating so that could be some of the problem!!!

That is all that I can think of right now but if I am sure that I will remember more when I go to post some pictures!

Temple Square, Samuel, and Rebecca!!

I just thought that this would be a good picture to start out with!!! It is very beautiful to see and I have to say that even though it was freezing I still felt the spirit!!

The picture below we had to have taken! Everyone knows who this is!!


We went onto the roof of the Conference Center and to say the least it was very cold!!! The man that was giving us the tower of the building took the picture for us!! Rebecca is there, I just have her hidden from the elements!


This wall is on the roof and is super awesome! The pictures have been sand blasted into the wall and when you stand in front of the wall and look at the pictures, you become part of the picture with your reflection!!! Very awesome!!


Ashley got to get up close to the Temple and she just had to touch it! Dad had just finished giving her all the info about how it was made and what it was made with! Dad was so nice and carried the diaper bag for me!! Unless you are caring one you don't realize how heavy they are!!


With the water running in the background in the fountain it doesn't fully look like it is winter!


Of course the best part to me is when we went to see the statue! I love that part and anytime I go and sit there I am in tears before hardly any time has passed. Ashley wasn't touched the same way as dad and I were but I hope she enjoyed her visit and decides to go back when it gets warmer. She said that she thought it was nice but that was about all.


Samuel had a school event take place that he was in with the choir. The students were allowed to pick a musical of their choice and sing a song from it on stage. Samuel chose Sweeny Todd. He sang a song from it and got to kill 3 people on stage! He had a good time but the girl that sat behind us was very scared after it was over when he came up to us! She thought he was going to kill her also! I guess it was explained to her but she never would look directly at him!

He did a good job at it as well as the rest of his classmates. I will have him comment on here and he can give the youtube names for them and you can log on and see them!

Now to the pictures of Rebecca! This is a dress that I just think is so cute on her!! She is cute in all of her cloths!! I got to put her in the booty's from Brazil again!!


This next one is so cute but it is so sad!! This is her "so sad"face! So adorable!


Oh, this is the flowers that Kevin gave me for Valentine's day! I forgot to put them on before!


Here she is in her bumbo! She is trying to fake her "so sad" face. She is good at pretending things now!! She likes to give fake coughing!!


This is after I called her on having the fake look! So cute!


So she has graduated from bathing in the sink to bathing in the tub! This is her own special tub inside the regular tub. She hates it! She is in the process of moving to lay sideways in it when this picture was taken! I have just decided that she will have regular baths and forget all about this one since she doesn't want to stay in it anyways!! Still loves her baths though!!


She likes her grandpa every now and again!! Most of the time she is not a fan of anyone for longer than a minute and wants me to hold her but in this picture you wouldn't know that dad had been holding her for several minutes!!! Looks like she really likes him!!


This next one is one that I absolutely love!! I was talking to Adrian on the phone a few days ago and she was jabbering on and on so I put the phone next to her ear to "talk" to Adrian. She decided that me holding the phone was not good enough so she took the phone out of my hand!! I got the camera and took the picture! She got mad at me when I took the phone back! While she had the phone she was just listening to Adrian talk to her and didn't make a sound the entire time!


We got her a high chair a couple of weeks ago and decided to see what she looked like in it! She has already found that a high chair is good place to take a nap! She is so incredibly small in it!


I was cooking dinner at the time and so I decided to have her watch me while I was cooking! It worked until she fell asleep! I went to put something in the pan and made a loud sizzle sound and woke her up! This is the look that I got before she decided to cry!! Poor baby! You can see her eyes getting red! She is like her mommy, I get super red in the face and eyes when I cry!
