So Behind!

Well I am way behind on this!! I guess there are updates to give though most everything is still the same!

Dad is doing fine. He still puts on the cream for his leg and has yet to go to the doctor down at the clinic to have it looked at again. He has been working on getting the garden ready to plant on his days off as well as working on the bathroom remodel. It has still been getting cold at night so as of this point the veggies that have been grown in our green room are not getting put into the garden. Maybe when we get back from Texas it can get planted!

Jonathan has been working a lot of overtime since he is getting one new well after another put on his run. He is on his days off now but most likely will have to go out and help for a few of the days that he should be off. He has gotten the S10 truck finished so that is what will be taken to Texas next week and will soon be working on the PT cruiser that Kevin and I are buying from him!

Nathan has been putting in for jobs as they come available but nothing being offered to him as of this point. He helps out for the most part as dad or Jonathan needs with vehicles or whatever. He hasn't been feeling as bad as he has in the past but still has problems with his stomach from time to time.

David graduates next week!!!!! He is excited I am sure to see family but not as much as what the excitement is for seeing Miranda!! He will get to leave base on Friday after his graduation ceremony but will have to be back by 8pm and then he again will get to leave the base on Saturday. He will get that whole day for himself! We will pick him up at 8am and he will be returned at 8pm to the base. We will then see him on Sunday to attend church with him on the base before leaving to make the drive back here to Utah.

Samuel is doing good in school still. He was doing track for a little while but has decided to drop that and take up golf! He didn't have any clubs so Kevin and I bought him some for a graduation gift. We went to DI but they are still good non the less!!! He is enjoying it though he says he is not that good at it. It will just take practice is all! He went to drama competition and went to state. He also recently took his ACT Test and made a 56% on it. I guess that is good but since I never took that test I can't say for sure!! He is looking forward to graduation. He helps dad out anytime that dad asks for help on something!

Kevin is same as always. He goes to work and comes home to complain about it! He has helped on some of the bodywork for the S10 as well as the bodywork for the PT Cruiser. He has also helped down at Guy and Janice's shop to trade for booth time so that the PT Cruiser can be painted to look professional!

Adrian is doing good. He is still over in Iraq but calls almost everyday! The only problems with him calling is that he is usually trying to play a game, watch a TV show, work on an online class, and talk to me all at the same time. The talking to me part gets put to the end so there is a lot of silent spots. He also calls just as Rebecca is going down for a nap! To say the least, she doesn't stay down for a nap! He is looking forward to his trip home in a couple of months but I think it is more for the salsa that I will be making for him and the sleep that he will get to have!

Ashley is doing good in all subjects except English. I have told her numerous times to ask for my help if she needs it but she has not asked until the report card came out! She is working on an essay for English right now and asked me to look at it but when she asks I am doing something with Rebecca or cooking dinner. I tell her to remind me later and then she forgets. She is still working on it so there is still time for me to look at it. She will be going to Tabiona High School next year as she has made a poor choice with some of her friends. She decided that she would have some alcohol while at school. We have hopefully got her to understand that that is not in anyway something that we are happy about or proud of but that she is still loved. I also hope that she does not make the choice to do it again. I guess only time will tell! I have to get some paper work done to get her a social security card so that she can get her drivers permit since she finally passed the written test! She is looking forward to school letting out but at the same time she is not since there will be a garden that will be calling her name!!

Rebecca is fabulous! She is still not sitting up on her own but she is getting better at her attempts. She is still a mommas girl but is liking dad more and more! She "talk" more and more and loves to spit! She has figured out that if she gets spit in the back of her throat she can gargle!! It is very cute! She is wearing size 0-3 month cloths now, no newborns at all! She is still a little small for most of them but we are working on getting her big enough for them! She still loves her baths and has started eating baby food everyday. She likes pears and sweet potatoes. She doesn't care for bananas much or peaches. She will get to try squash soon as well as green beans! She does not sleep at night well at all!!!! We go upstairs by 9:30pm and she is sleeping by around 10:15 to 10:20pm. I lay her down and within a few minutes she is up. This goes on and on for a while before she will finally be down for about an hour. She is then up almost every hour! I get tired after about the 6Th or 7Th time getting up so I just pull her into bed. She sleeps better there but I don't want to let her start there. Naps are the same way. If I am holding her then she will sleep, if I put her down then she is awake within a few minutes. Today is a fluke and I have time to write this!!

I am tired! I am way behind on all things that I like to have done such as cleaning the bathrooms, laundry, organization, pretty much everything!! I enjoy all that comes with my daily routine of being with Rebecca though! I love to watch her learn new things almost as if it was over night! I am getting ready to take the trip to Texas as of Tuesday. I am getting to see how well Rebecca takes a road trip being the age that she is now. I am excited to see David as well as Mom and Timothy!! I wish that I had time to exercise as I find that I am giggly in some places that bother me! I am preparing to go to the Temple while Mom is here. As of May 28Th it will be one year since I was baptized and I can get my recommend and go take out my endowments! I am very excited about that. I lost my companion for visiting teaching as she has moved to Salt Lake. I have yet to be given another one.

Well that is about all there is to us! Not much has changed with any of us!

Happy Birthday Lilly!!

Wow!! You are 4 already!! Where does the time go?? I wish that I was there to celebrate your birthday with you but I guess we will have to do that another time!! I hope you get everything that you want and eat lot's of cake and ice cream! Happy birthday Lilly!

Rebecca is 5 Months!!!

Well, she is now 5 months old!!! Where the time went is beyond me!!! She still likes to block pictures. If she is smiling when we are trying to take a picture she will cover her smile!!


Most of the time this is the look that we get when we try to take a picture! She is not a fan of the camera!!

We put her in her jumper the other day for the first time. She is too small for it so we have to put a towel around her so that she won't smack her face on the sides!! Still doesn't work perfectly!


She has a good time in it for a little bit and then she wants out! So cute!


She likes anything with sugar! One of her favorite things is the peeps! She will suck on it but get mad when I would take it away to avoid the marshmallow to separate. Can you tell that she enjoys it??

For Easter she got a pink bunny rabbit! I think she likes it!


So sweet!!


She got lots of stuff for Easter but does not get most of it!! Poor baby!


It is a little bit blurry but she is eating a ring pop!! She likes those, it is a sucker after all!!

OK, on to the good stuff!

She is growing out of hr newborn cloths and starting to fit into some of the 0-3 month cloths! I have not weighed her on Dad's scale yet but I know that she has gained weight!! She is into the size one diapers instead of the newborn size! She loves to pull off her right sock if given the chance! She loves diaper changes and lifts her bum up so that I can put the diaper under her! She talks all the time until a camera is present and then there is silence! She doesn't much care for naps unless I am holding her. Sunday's she will take a nap because I lay down with her! She still loves her bath! We started her on rice cereal and she has had some bananas. She takes a couple bites and then she will spit anything else given to her out! She prefers to just eat breast milk! She is liking other people such as Dad a little better but wants me over anyone still! She tolerates her car seat more when we go to town. I still pull her into bed with me at 7 or 7:30 each morning but her sleeping at night is unpredictable! Last couple of nights she was up almost every hour but before that it was only a couple of times with about 3 hours in between each time! She has started to laugh every now and again, so cute!! She would walk if she had better balance with the top of her body. Her legs are ready!!! That would also go for crawling except she can't get up on her hands!

That is about all that there is!!

Happy Easter and promised pictures!!!

Here is miss Rebecca on the Easter Bunny's knee!! I don't remember ever sitting on the Easter Bunny's knee when I was little but it is like going to see Santa!! The line took forever!!!

I had to get a picture with my phone to send to Mom!!

She looks so thrilled!! She didn't cry though!


Ashley got to sit on his knee also!! She is bigger than he is and very red!! She had fun though!


I had this one on here and realized that it was the blurry one, sorry!


The next one is also blurry. Kevin does not like his picture taken and Adrian wanted a picture of him opening his birthday gift that he sent so it was done in secret!! I will post a picture later of the gift, it is some weird looking action figure that Kevin collects and likes to hang on walls.


Kevin complains that Rebecca has nothing that says she loves him so I bought her this 0-3 month size outfit that says it so he can stop complaining! This is the first 0-3 month size outfit that she is wearing! Starting to grow out of almost all of the newborn stuff! This picture was taken yesterday after we changed her out of the dress she was wearing for the Easter Bunny! Very current!


The next few pictures are of when David left for the basic training! This is while he was standing in line to go through the security area!

Now back to the house! Dave Cozart has a girlfriend and this is her younger daughter Amy. She loves to hold Rebecca! I got Rebecca to give a small smile so that is why I put this one on here!

Kevin and I celebrated our wedding anniversary by going to Salt Lake for a couple of nights! The weather was nice so I got to put Rebecca in a cute sun dress! This is when we got to the hotel room! She was happy to not be in the truck anymore!

She is not yet sitting up on her own but she does try!


We got her a swim suit and took her swimming! The only kind of swimming suits that the store had that was in her size was two piece one's! That is crazy! We bought it anyway and even though it is a size 0-3 month, it is too big!


She is so cute in it!! You get to see the cute rolls in her legs!! Since I don't think that babies should be showing off that much of their bodies we bought a tank top to go over top!! Still cute!!


We had a nice dinner at The Roof Restaurant that is located on the 10Th floor of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building at Temple Square! The view from our table was amazing!!!


Kevin looks so thrilled!! Rebecca has close to the same expression with him holding her!


Then there is Rebecca and myself!!! She spent most of the time sitting in my lap!!

The food is awesome so if anyone gets the chance to eat there, do it!!


OK, now to the house pictures!! The following is of some of the remodel!


Mom picked the light above and Dad and Kevin choose the paint color from the samples that mom had picked! I like it!

You can also see the floor in the one below! So easy to sweep, it is awesome!



We have planted our garden inside to get the things growing! This is now full and we have no more room! I will be taking a picture and posting it soon of all the growth that has taken place! It is awesome!!

Now back to Rebecca!! She likes her bumbo and sits in it every morning while I do the dishes! She got tired while I was making cookies the other day! So sweet!


She got her first taste of brownie batter the other day also! I don't know for sure but she might just like it!

I can't get over how cute she is!!


Then there is this one! She is just hanging out enjoying life!!!


We started her on rice cereal and I have some small video clips to post but can't get it to work. Is there something special that I need to do to them to get them to work???
