So in the post right after this one you will see that I said that I had not heard anything from my doctor about the ultrasound that I had done, he called. He said that Rebecca is just under the size that she needs to be and so he is having me go in for non stress testing two times every week to monitor her. He wants to keep a close eye on her from this point forward and if at any point the fluid levels drop or he thinks that the results of a test are not where they need to be then they will do an emergency c-section and deliver Rebecca. My first test is set for tomorrow and then it will be every Monday and Thursday from then on. I will be getting a blessing from Dad and Jonathan to help comfort me during this and hopefully I can still continue on with my pregnancy til the due date. I will ask that as everyone says their prayers that you might include Rebecca in them. I am hoping that since she is just under where she needs to be in size and is active that she is just a small baby and is getting everything that she needs to survive!
I will keep you posted on how the testing goes.

Maybe she'll come on your birthday!
About the ultrasound pictures...CUTE! Especially the one of her foot (where you can get a clear image). They tried a 3-D with Lydia but the tech wasn't trained to use that equipment and we pretty much couldn't see a thing. She does have cute little cheeks...can't wait to see her in person!
About the size thing...I would take it with a grain of salt. They really, really can't tell. I've heard so many people talk abotu how they were frantic because they were told their baby was undersize or oversize and it came out average. With Lydia, I was told from the ultrasound that she was average and she weighed over a pound more than what they predicted. All the ultrasound can do is give a guess and it's not always accurate.
Of course, it's better to be on the safe side and do all the non-stress stuff. Follow your doctor's guidance. Maybe force yourself to eat a little more, and lots of carbs!
I'm sure she is fine, but of course we will pray for her, too.
As for the placenta...you just may be in for a c-section so I'd start mentally preparing for that one. Good thing mom is coming to help you out!
I agree with Alison about the sizes just being a guesstimate. With Lynnsey they had me going in for non-stress tests every week too and a few extra ultrasounds. My doctor admitted that they could really only get an idea through ultrasound of the size and what she most wanted to see was an active baby and continued steady growth at the ultrasounds. Hopefully that will be the case with you as well. My amnio levels were a bit low with Lynnsey as well but luckily not enough to require any treatment. Good luck. We'll definitely continue to keep both you and the baby in our prayers.
If you have her on your birthday that will make 6 family members on ours and Kalen's side with that birthday!
