Rebecca's Travels!!!

So these are mostly pictures of Rebecca!! I have many more but just put a few on here!!! To start with, the one that is above is of her next to the outfit that we were going to bring her home from the hospital in originally! It is a newborn size yet it would swallow her! This just gives an idea of how small she really was when bringing her home!

The one below is taken the same day as the one above, I just think that she is cute with her eyes open!

This is one taken of her and Lilly when they came out to celebrate Thanksgiving with us! Too cute!

We are on our way to go to her baby shower! She is special in that she actually got to attend her shower! Everyone loved her and wanted to hold her while we were there! I forgot my camera when we walked out of the house like a bonehead so I have no pictures of the shower itself!

Below is a picture of her in her car seat surrounded by all of the gifts that she got at her shower!! Can you see her in all of them??? She is a very spoiled girl with all of her stuff! Every bag is stuffed with things, I am glad that she is small, she will have the chance to wear all of the things that she got a few times!!!

I took her to church and had no dresses to put her in that would fit, this is the one that she wore her first Sunday! It is very big on her but she looks so cute in it!! I also love the flower on her tiny head! She is stretching but it almost looks like she is wanting to be picked up!

And of course it didn't take long before she figured out that I was taking her picture!

Her and I going to church! She is much cuter than I am!

She has been many places in her first month of life! She has been to Pinn Willies!

She stayed in her seat until it was time for her to eat!

We were waiting for her two week appointment and I noticed that she had pockets in her outfit! I had to put her hand in it and take the picture! So cute! On an off note, she will only get to wear this outfit maybe one more time before she has grown out of it!

The same day we went to Pinn Willies we also went bowling. I myself did not bowl having just had the c-section but it was fun to watch. The bowlers were Mom, Dad, Adrian, Kevin, and Jonathan. I was feeding Rebecca in the bathroom when they first started playing and I missed seeing Kevin fall and slide down the lane! That would have been a fun thing to get a picture of!!

This picture will update the top picture at some point. We wanted to have a picture taken of the entire family together since Adrian has gone to Germany. Of course getting Kevin to smile for a picture is impossible.

We went to the airport to say goodbye to Adrian. He is very attached to his baby sister and that made it that much harder for him to say goodbye. He is such a good big brother!

He is giving us a thumbs up right before passing through security! As soon as he passed through we were told that we could get a pass and go back since her was being sent away to Germany. Kevin, Rebecca, and myself got a second chance to say goodbye to him and watch him board the plane! I was crying as well as Adrian!

Most of you have seen Nathans dog Snow. If not, this is her and she is very protective of Rebecca. She always has to know what is going on with her and runs to her side if she hears her cry or make any kind of noise! This is a picture taken right before we left to go to Michigan and then Kentucky for Granddaddy's funeral. She knew something was going on!

While in Kentucky she had many admirers! Alison is one of them! She looks so little!!
Below is a couple of her cousins that wanted to hold her over and over again! It was very sweet to watch but a little bit nerve racking since they are small themselves and there was a lot of horse playing going on in the house.

She has been to her great granddaddies funeral. He saw a picture of her when she was born and so he knew what she looked like. I think he was pleased with her! She has another guardian angel watching out for her now! She is a special girl to have so many wonderful people watching out for her!

I got a picture of them walking the casket out to the hearse. A very good shot if I do say so myself!

When we got to the cemetery I got one of them taking it out as well! This one you can see Andrew in!!

So much honor was showed to him, it was awesome!!

Her is our gang outside the Baptist church after the service! We are a big group and I am amazed that we were able to all fit into the house of Granddaddy and Grandma Bloodworth!!

After the funeral and a short nap taken by Rebecca and myself while everyone else went to the playground we all loaded into vehicles and drove to the Diamond Caverns! She is so little that she won't remember it but I have pictures to prove that she has been to a cave!!

Above is her and I. She is so small!

Below is our group inside the cave!

Here her and I are again!

I had Samuel take a picture of her and I at the top of one of the sets of stairs! I am proud of myself for walking all of the stairs and not falling!!

I decided to just put this one in for kicks and giggles!! He is having a good time if you can't tell!!

While in Kentucky we went to church twice. This is the first dress that she wore. Still a little bit big but she is adorable non the less!!

For some reason the camera takes the pictures and wont allow them to be converted to right side up. I hope you can still see the cuteness that is Rebecca!!!

She almost looks like she is trying to run somewhere!!

She also got her first bath while in Kentucky!

She tried to block the picture but was not fast enough!!

She enjoyed the part where she got her hair washed!

So cute!!

The rest of the bath she did not much care for!! Poor baby!!

This is part of her fan club!! They loved her and when mom has talked to Dale since being gone from there, she has asked about Rebecca!! Cristy was a huge Rebecca fan!!

She is so cute when she is stretching!! This picture was taken when she was a month old! Very sweet!

The second dress that she wore to church while in Kentucky is below!! Again it is still a little big but very cute!! i love her hat also!!

A closer look at the hat on her! It makes her look like her head is super tiny! Andrew, if you can see at the bottom of the above picture you can see the tops of the booty's that came from Brazil!

She figured out that pictures were getting taken again!!

This was the morning we were leaving to go get on the train from Michigan! It was an early morning and she is not generally a morning person!

Here we are on the train from Battle Creek Michigan heading to Chicago! We were suppose to be on the train fro a couple of hours and then we would have a couple hour lay over in Chicago, that is not what happened! We were on a train that had major engine problems and so we were told that another train was going to hook on to us and tow us into Chicago. Something was wrong with the connections and so instead of towing us in, we were told to switch trains. We joined the other train and found ourselves extremely crowded with almost 40 to 50 people standing since all seats were full! We didn't make it very far before that train also had engine problems and they had to bring in a whole new engine to get us the rest of the way into Chicago. we arrived very late so we missed the train that was suppose to take us from Chicago to Helper Utah. We were put up in a Hyatt Regency hotel and given money to eat with as well as cab fair from the Amtrak people.

This is our room and Rebecca is just hanging out with mom on the bed!

We got back to the train station and I upgraded our coach seats to a sleeper room. that made us first class passengers so we were waiting in a nice room with free snacks and a fireplace! Very big difference in first class and coach waiting areas!

This picture below is for Adrian, I was on the phone with him at the time!!

This man below was a stranger and he came by and gave Rebecca a two dollar bill and a Susan B Anthony coin!

Mom wanted to wear her on the train for a minute!! I guess it has been a while since she has worn a baby on the snugli!

I wore her a lot on the train! The pictures would not upload for some reason though!

Here we are on the train, I just finished feeding her so I was trying to get her to burp!!

We ate in the dinning car that was upstairs. The food was free since I upgraded us so that was a nice thing!! We ate steaks!! At any rate, this is the stairs that we had to go up and down to get to the dinning car, very steep!!

Our first morning waking up. The bunk was close to the ceiling so I was given permission from the attendant for our car to take her and feed her in the family suit that was not occupied through the night! That was very nice of him!

She was having a good time on the train!! As you can see by her smile, she was in a good mood after waking up!!

Well that is what I have for you!! She has been in her car seat and going somewhere everyday since leaving the hospital except for 3, today being one of them!! She is 6 weeks old today and we weighed her with dad's postage scale last night. She is weighing in at 7lbs. 1oz. We will get the length done soon! I am excited that she is growing yet somewhat sad since she is not my tiny baby anymore! She is almost grown out of all of her preemie cloths but does not fit fully into the newborn one's yet! She is super cute and I am still a proud momma!!!

She is precious and has had a lot of adventures for such a tiny little thing. You'll definitely have to put it all together in a scrapbook for her.

She is definitely growing...she does look bigger and older already. It is bittersweet...so fun to see them grow and see the next thing, but also hard as they get bigger, just knowing how quickly it all passes by.

What fun adventures and great pictures. (I especially like the oh-so-flattering one of me in the cave!) It's so funny that Rebecca still tries to cover her face for pictures. (Like I should have done for that cave shot!)

It is sad when they get bigger, but at the same time there is so much to look forward to. (Although, "big" is relative. At 7 lbs. 1 oz. she's still smaller than my smallest baby.)

She has been a very busy little girl. You have also been extremely busy considering you just had a baby. Kudos. After I had a baby I didnt really do much of anything.
