K, so it has been a while for updates!
Dad has been putting in the floor in the dining area of the house and it is looking fabulous!! He has been working still and is starting to get some overtime back (not as much as he used to have by any means!) He got good gifts for Christmas like gift cards to Home Depot, the new Star Trek movie, money for a date night for him and mom, a picture in a frame of him and Kayleigh that made everyone cry, and a new suit! We gave him the suit but took him out to the store to pick it out and then have it tailored to fit! I will post pictures of Christmas later! Other than that he is doing good!
Mom has been here for a couple of weeks since going to Kentucky. She is doing good after all that has gone on this past year. She also got a picture of her and Kayleigh together and it also made everyone cry. She got a book that has a poem that David wrote in it, it was very good and again tears came! I cried first! She also got a new coat! We gave her that and I had her pick it out herself. She got other things that I will post when I do pictures. She is doing well.
Jonathan is working at newfield as a pumper still, still hating it as usual! He was a regular Scrooge this year, complaining he didn't want any gifts or anything. By the end he opened his gifts and the ones that needed to be put together was as soon as he was able to!! He got things like cloths and games. The game he liked the best I think was Hungry Hungry Hippos!!
Nathan enjoyed Christmas also. He got several things and he is enjoying watching them sit on the couch where he left them!! He did seem interested in the radio control car that he got from us, opened it as fast as he could and got it charging right away! He is still looking for work and doing odd jobs around here for Dad and Jonathan in the mean time. He also helps Dave Cozart a lot. Hopefully he can find a job soon and be able to pay some of his bills to allow dad to have more of his pay check for his own bills!
David is doing good. He goes out to the city every month to do a check in with the air force and while out there he sees Miranda. He only gets to see her twice a month so it is hard on him. She surprised him the day after Christmas by coming out here. i met her in town and she followed me back here to the house. Mom told David that Santa came and I had several packages from the post office in my hand, so at first he though that was what she was talking about and then he saw Miranda right behind me!! He was very surprised!!! His voice was shaking! It was awesome. He had a good Christmas also and again I will go into details about that later! He is still working at Als!
Samuel is still not working but continues to help most of the time when he is asked. He has perfect attendance and strait A's in school! Not much else with him!
Kevin is working still as a pumper at Berry Petroleum. He hates it or at least he makes it seem like that! He got a four wheeler for Christmas so that made him happy. It also made Jonathan happy since we are taking over payments for it from him! He is trying very hard to not say so many bad words and is doing good for the most part! He is still stubborn but even that I think he is trying to work at!
Adrian is in Germany and is going to be 19 on the 30th of this month! He is still waiting on his gifts that we sent him and has made some friends there. He spends most of his time with his friends and unfortunately none of them are LDS. He also unfortunately has not been going to church. I gave him a long talk about how important it is to attend but if not able to do that then he should make time every day to read his scriptures and pray! I hope he listened to me! He will soon be deployed to Afghanistan for a year! I am not excited or happy about it but that doesn't matter to the Army!! I am scared for him and I think he is also since he does not know what to expect. He is growing into a brave young man!!
Ashley is spoiled! She got more things for Christmas than she should have but oh well I guess! She is not doing so good in school so she has temporarily been grounded from the things that distracted her the most from her school work being the computer and the phone. When we get her grades next we will look at her progress and see if she needs to get those privileges back yet or what we need to do. I have made many suggestions on how she can get help and get her grades back up but she is a teenager and likes to do things her own way!! Hopefully her own way is the way it will work for her the best!
Rebecca is fabulous! Today she has a tummy ache since all she wanted to do yesterday is eat! She ate to much and is suffering the consequence of it! She was weighing it at 7lbs. 1oz a couple of weeks ago but we have not weighed her since or measured her length (I need to get on that!) She is out grown all of her preemie cloths but is still to small for the newborn size. We still put her in them and is so cute to see the pants hanging over her feet, she is just too cute!! She slept right through her first Christmas but was awake when she went and saw Santa a few days before! She is beautiful as ever and loves to give me lots of kisses and smiles!! I love it! She is going to be blessed on the 3rd of January!
Me! I love being a mom to a baby! It is fun at times to be a mom to teenagers but very stressful! Babies are funner because they cuddle with you and just need you! I am way behind on cleaning and laundry but am ok with it since the reason for it is because of Rebecca and I am enjoying that so much!! I am glad that Christmas is over so I can focus more attention where it needs it and get things back to normal!

THis is Andrew.
So when is Rebecca's next doctor appointment? I think it is always fun to go and see how much the kids weigh and what percentile they fall into. You will have to let us know where she falls when you go next.
Look forward to seeing the pictures.
Adrian will be fine in Afganistan. A year is a long time, but I think it will be a good experience for him. It was hard being away from family when I was in Iraq, but it was a good experience I am glad I had.
Sounds like things are busy and fun out there. I can't wait to see all the home improvement stuff that Dad has done. I'm glad everyone had a great Christmas and that all seem to be doing well for the most part. Can't wait for all the pictures!
I really wasn't trying to make anyone cry with the pictures with Kayleigh. I actually debated about whether or not to send them because I didn't want to get anyone upset. But, in the end, I just wanted mom and dad to have them.
Sounds like Christmas was good. I'm looking forward to the pictures, too.
It sounds like everyone had a good Christmas.
I still need to get Mom Dad and David a gift. I hate doing it after Christmas but we are still trying to get back on our feet.
I am looking forward to seeing the pictures also!!
