Valentine's Day!!!

Aren't they beautiful!!! This is what Kevin gave to me for valentine's day! He went to the flower shop and picked out the silk flowers and the vase. He then decided that he would arrange them himself. I thin k he did a fabulous job on them. I did tell him that he could have just used one of the 2 dozen vases that I have here at the house instead of buying a new one and all he said is that is need more vases anyways!! I told him that they are only useful if you have something to put in them so he better get started!! Good hint huh!?!

Below is something that I had ordered for mom back a couple of days after Christmas. I had forgotten about it due to everything else that had been going on and it took me a minute to figure out what it was when it came in the mail. As soon as I was reading the invoice on it I saw the word throw and knew what it was. I grabbed the box and headed upstairs to look at it telling mom that she wasn't aloud to see it since it was for her valentine's gift. I was not disappointed when I saw what came out of the box!! It is prettier in real life rather than just a picture. I let Adrian and Ashley see it and Kevin when he got home from work, they said it was nice. I knew it would make mom cry but it is very true to its words!! I gave her a card first and in the card I said a few words and put at the bottom that the gift said it all and then a PS at the bottom saying that I can still pick them !!! I got teary eyes from her when she was reading the card but full on tears when she opened the gift!! I am good!!

Here is mom holding it up for me to take the picture of it!! I knew she loves throws and the words on this one was perfect!! What do you think??

Timothy enjoyed himself as you can see!! Don't worry it was sparkling cider!! We had to take the picture at any rate!!

I made little buckets of things for Adrian and Ashley. The one directly below is the one for Ashley. Hers is different than Adrian's but only because of the stuffed animal that is in hers. I didn't think that at age 18 Adrian would like a stuffed teddy bear!! The buckets had a giant lolly pop, some chocolate hearts, peanut m&ms, 2 boxes of heart candy, and a card. As you can see Ashley got a white teddy bear!! She really like the card from what she said.

Adrian got all of the same things in his except the teddy bear, instead I gave him a dog!!! He said that the card made him go aah and feel all warm inside!! I put the buckets in their rooms when I got up at 5 to make Kevin's lunch so that they would wake up to them!! Aren't I a sweetheart!!

I gave Dad a card that made him laugh and for Kevin I gave him a card, also making him laugh and a box of Reese's peanut butter cups!! For David and Samuel, I gave them candy hearts and a chocolate heart. All together I spent less than 20 for all cards and gifts (except mom's) I have told the kids it is the thought that counts, not the price!! I don't think they were disappointed at any rate!!

Those flowers are beautiful. And I enjoyed seeing all of your gifts. I'm glad you all had a fun Valentine's day. We did our traditional candlelight dinner with all of the kids that we do every year. It's funny how excited they get about eating by candlelight.
