SOOO.....

OK, so I have the pictures taken and they are still sitting on my camera of the baby bump as well as the haircut of Ashley's. I promise I will get them posted. I do feel like I am getting bigger and bigger each day so I will have a couple of those kind of pictures posted!

I am not sure if I mentioned it or not but on Friday the 13Th we are having our thanksgiving dinner and we are all excited because Andrew and Marni are coming out with the kids so we get to have some visiting time with family!!!

Mom will get in on Thursday the 12Th around 11pm so I will pick her up and then make it home a couple hours before having to start cooking! Fortunately for me she will be here and I will get to delegate any of the cooking stuff that I don't want to do! I am so lucky!!

I went to the doctor appointment yesterday and was told that I will not be having the c-section on the 16Th after all. I instead will be having her on the morning of the 17Th. I have to be to the hospital at 6am on Tuesday the 17Th and they will have me in the operating room by 7 30am. Adrian will have to leave to go to the airport and fly out by noon on the 17Th. He will get to see her for a couple hours so that will be a nice thing and of course he will get to see her born. He will be standing at the door of the operating room with Kevin while they do the c-section and mom will be sitting with me in the room. That is Kevin's choice for mom to be with me. We will be getting a video camera so that it can be video taped, I am excited for that! Before going in for the surgery I will be getting a blessing and I am privileged to say that Adrian will be the one that is giving the blessing! He is nervous but I think a little bit excited also! For the next two weeks I will be doing some serious cleaning and hopefully get lots of help from everyone with little complaining. If they complain fine but the help will be given to me anyway!!
After Rebecca is born I will stay in the hospital for a few days and I am understanding that Kevin will not be staying in the hospital with me. Mom will stay with me so I am not alone though so that will be nice. When I get home I will not be able to walk up stairs for a week or so so I will be staying in the living room. I guess that will work for Kevin since he likes the room to be about zero degrees, I won't be there to turn the heater on!

Well, that is all that I know of at this point! I will have Dad download the pictures as soon as he gets home from work today and then have them posted tomorrow. I promise!!!

Not much longer! It is good that mom will be there with you in the hospital since Kevin wont be. I hated being in the hospital especially by myself. When I had Jenna Cody had to go home for the first night. I cried a lot!

So close! I am getting SOOO excited for you. I can't wait to see her. That is so awesome that Adrian can give you a blessing. He is such a great kid. You probably won't feel up to much right after, but I still hope you are able to get a quick family photo before Adrian heads out. Do you know when you'll be able to see him next?

That is a fabulous idea to do a family Thanksgiving dinner early. I wish I could come!

Alison,
As far as seeing Adrian goes I have no idea. He is going to be posted in Germany for a minimum of two years. He will be able to take vacation when he gets it built back up again but that will be a while. He is also in a deploying unit in Germany so he could be sent to Iraq at any time during his post there.

Wow! Adrian is cutting it close in getting to see the baby. I'm glad he'll be able to at least meet her. And that is so great that he can give you a blessing. And I'm glad that Mom is coming to help out. I can't believe how soon it is!
