Last night we went to the haunted corn maze!! It was myself, Kevin, Ashley, Adrian, and Samuel that went and I had a blast, the kids did also!! We went spur of the moment and on the way there I got pulled over (very bad), fortunately I was not given anything besides a verbal warning (very good!) I was going 61 in a 35 so that would have been a horrible ticket. I was in an area that I had never been in and I was not aware that the speed had dropped from the 60 to 35. Anyway, when we got to the maze and the line was way long but it was well worth the wait. The best part of the whole thing was at the end when the "Freddie" character came directly up to us and heard me say Ashley's name. He then began to chase her to the end of the maze calling her name in a very spooky way!! It was very funny! We went through the non haunted part of the maze and somehow ended back in the haunted part so when the "Freddie" guy saw Ashley again, he remembered her and couldn't resist the creepy calling out her name. I have never seen her run so fast!!!
Next week on Halloween we are going to go to Whiterocks and go through the haunted woods! That should be more fun than the maze, if we see any haunted houses on the way we will probably stop at them too!! I love Halloween!!!

How fun! We can't do any of the haunted stuff quite yet with such little kids, but maybe someday. Or maybe we'll just have to take Taylor and Kendall sometime and leave the little ones behind.
Yeah, we can't even do those haunted rides at Lagoon yet...way too scary for my sheltered little ones. We did let them watch Casper last night and there were no nightmares so maybe they're growing up! (Monsters, Inc. is a new video to our repertoire, too).
